0 Vipul Shah to direct Namastey England starring Akshay Kumar

After directing Akshay Kumar in over five films likeAankhen, Waqtamong others, Vipul Shah will yet again don the director's hat for the sequel to the popular filmNamastey London(which was also directed by him), titledNamastey England. A sequel was always on the cards, however, there were many speculations around it. But, now it is confirmed thatNamastey Englandwill have Akshay Kumar producing it as well as playing the lead. Though the makers are planning to keep the details of the film under wraps, it is being said that the second installment will be a completely new love story with a twist. Moreover, the female lead too will have a performance based role. While the prequel had Katrina Kaif playing the lead, the leading lady for this one is yet to be finalized. From what we hear, this film is inspired by a true love story and will once again be based in Punjab and London. Namastey Englandis slated to go on floor in January 2016 and will be releasing in the second half of the year.
